Responsible for the management of the surgeries and staff. She is responsible for publications, information leaflets and general policies and procedures in use within the practice. Please contact her if you have any suggestions, comments or complaints.

Administration

The team of secretaries and receptionists are our ‘front line troops’ and have a very difficult job to do. They are very busy during surgery hours, so please try to be patient. Nonurgent enquiries are best dealt with outside these hours if possible.

Community Midwives

A community midwife runs an ante-natal clinic for our patients each Monday morning.

Community Nurses

The district nurses provide nursing care for patients in their own home, and will make care plans to ensure that patients receive a co-ordinated package of care. Specialist nursing advice and support is available from the Macmillan nurses, continence advisors, diabetic nurse specialists, community paediatric nurses and others.

Health Visitors

This practice has two health visitors who are available for queries, particularly regarding children. They also work jointly with the doctors at the baby clinic.
